Mexican Wine Tasting
400 Years in the Making
The wine Mexico has been producing for centuries — almost no one outside the country knows it exists.
Overview
Alberto Moyeda has spent five years doing one thing: making Mexican wine impossible to ignore. Not through lectures or tasting notes, but through the kind of pairing that makes you stop mid-sip and laugh because it just works. His belief: wine connects to identity. In Mexico, that identity includes tamarindo, cajeta, and chile-dusted mango. This experience is built on that idea.
What to Expect
The Experience Flow
Start with a sweet story
Alberto welcomes you with a curated spread of traditional Mexican candies and treats — dulces de tamarindo, ate de membrillo, mazapán. Before a single bottle opens, you'll understand what you're pairing with.
Sip your first glass
Northern Mexican wines take center stage — Valle de Guadalupe, Coahuila, Querétaro. You'll explore how these wines interact with tart, sweet, and fruity flavors from the regions they come from.
Mix and match your pours
The heart of the experience. You experiment freely — different wines, different candies, building a personal map of what works and why. No wrong answers. Some surprisingly right ones.
One last pairing
The session closes with a final combination Alberto has been holding back. You leave with a small gift: a bag of your favorite candy from the experience.
